Episode 4 (Something about her) of Nowhere Man is about Synthetic Telepathy or Psychotronics (psychological electronics) and neuropharmacologicals . In this episode the main character Thomas is abducted from the street and taken to a lab. He’s put in a trance. New memories are induced in his brain through “subliminal dream programming” and brain resonance entrainment. This episode is similar to INCEPTION (dream world movie about data mining). A video is projected in his brain and text is narrated about his new friend Karen. He’s treated for a week which seemed like 4 months.
The psychotronics in the episode are now outdated. Today’s version is wireless biotelemetry using masers (microwaves for wireless brain-computer interface) and advanced computers.
